will be difficult to remove that circlip
only way to access it is through the small opening below the dress cap

you should be able to pull out the turntable ( no need to remove the bolt )
if not : probably a circlip at the bottom of the shaft behind the turntable motor

as your are willing to look across the border :
The Netherlands has a few jukebox companies
not going to advertice , but give you a general link : www.marktplaats.nl
here you find companies but also individual sellers ( 1 with a 2000 in Lelystad ( edit : adverticed as original ))
type in the empty space on the left : wurlitzer 2000
and click on " zoek " ( = suche )

incase you dont have a manual : scans of the contact block & reverse switch
check with a multimeter if all the contacts in the reverse switch make contact
incase you want to check /clean the contact block :
mark the position
first remove the 2 bolts on the contact block
loosen the wire cable and pull it through the hole in the upper cabinet
remove the 4 bolt of the pinbank

Hi Seeburg 19
as I see it you explained the difference between some-one who has jukes as a hobby and others who
see it as a business
as for : "always try get a jukebox as cheap as possible to complete it with original parts "
you really think buying an original 1448 Amp in the U.S. , shipping it to The Netherlands and
a full revision by an expert is less expensive compared t

"Die Stifte für die B-seiten werden geschossen"
do you mean the B side pins in the pinbank
or the pin in the cancel solenoid ?
if you mean the pins in the pinbank and from there nothing happens
the problem is in the contact block
the pins just don't make contact with the contact block

took me years to complete my 1448
the first thing I threw in the bin was the amp
from my point of view only original parts are an option
like to believe 99 out of 100 think this way
ps don't get me wrong
as an amp is an essential part to make it all work your suggestion
could be a temporary solution till one has the opportunity to acquire
an original amp

you say : "Die Stifte für die B-seiten werden geschossen"
A:
as this happens at the end of the cycle ( before actual playing the record ) this would mean
the record is loaded and clamped
the pickup arm is placed in the right position and the stylus is placed on the record
is this correct ?
B :
the next step should be that the pickup arm is released and the record should b

Hi
as above : originally a redhead cartridge
magnetic vs ceramic : output voltage ( a ceramic has a much higher output )
to test : unplug cord from amp
measure resistance : a magnetic will show resistance , a ceramic infinity
measure voltage : play a record , magnetic will show output in the range of 3 mV , a ceramic in the range of 700mV
as for the "Poti" : doesn

Hi
Why not a Seeburg 100R ?
innovative model - looks are perfect day as well as night - upright play - perfect sound -
as it is a popular model : lots of spare parts - build in stepper incase you also want a wallbox
( wallbox is the 3W1 : icon when it comes to wallboxes )
downside : the record play mechanism is somewhat more complex then others
and a lot less expensive compared to a

Hi charly49
totally agree with you , is the right way to do it
(was at first the way I did it , also used the glassfiber pen for a while )
but also encountered a problem doing so
as you can see in the included pic ( contacts of a W120 wallbox ) these are not easy to access
and very fragile , just a little too much force and they break ( yes , happened to me )
therefor I tried other

ok, somewhat reluctant to tell for I know I probably get a lot of comments
but I used for all the contacts and other parts : alloy wheel cleaner ( non acid )
spray it on - use a paintbrush to get to all the parts - rinse a few times with water using the same
paintbrush - getting rid of most of the water with high pressure air ( air compressor )
and let it all dry for some time

test results of the old caps

.01 mfd = 10 nF result : 26 nF
.01 mfd = 10 nF result : 30 nF
.1 mfd = 100 nF result : 138 nF

10 uF result : 10.5 uF

done the same : replaced both caps and diode ( see pic2)
once in working order I removed the blade and spring (taped it inside the housing , left bottom corner )
this way preventing the accumulator to count down ( always a free play )

ok, first of all : haven't got a clue how a 1432 accumulator looks
couldn't find any pictures on the net either
did find one of a 1436 (1952)
basically the same as the 1448 so perhaps it also applies the the 1432
inside the accumulator there are 3 coils , depending on the value of the inserted coin 1 of the 3 is activated
moving a ratchet up (now you have 1 or more credits )

as the 1454 is about the same as the 1448
sure you mean resistor instead of condenser ?
there are 3 .05 MDF 400V condensers in the control box
24AB2
as the coding on the condensers are in a way similar to resistors this might cause confusion
strangely enough in the manual there are 3 condensers
but the schematic of the 1448 shows 4
can't remember how many there were when
