RO 1454 control box

Hi there
can anyone tell me what resistor goes between the cancel relay and the 8 prong socket in the 1454 control box, it has something to do with the gripper motor.

as the 1454 is about the same as the 1448

sure you mean resistor instead of condenser ?

there are 3 .05 MDF 400V condensers in the control box

as the coding on the condensers are in a way similar to resistors this might cause confusion
strangely enough in the manual there are 3 condensers
but the schematic of the 1448 shows 4
can't remember how many there were when I replaced them

there is only one resistor inside the Control- Box and it's not in my scematic of the 1454 ?!?
I have one box in my storage and I measured the resistor with 5 Ohm ?

I think , it will be not more than 5 Watt !
If you will be on a very safe side , take a 7 Watt resistor!

iv gone for 6.8 ohm--7 watt resistor and it works fine

What is the reason for the exchange of that resistor? With other words, what would happen in case of a faulty resistor?

I changed the resistor because the gripper motor was reversing very slow ,almost at a stop.
