Seeburg 100 J spielt nur die A Seiten

Meine Seeburg 100 JL ärgert mich einwenig, folgendes Problem meine Box spielt nur die A-seiten ab.
Geprüft habe ich bisher:
- Die Stifte für die B-seiten werden geschossen
- Der Kontaktblock streift auch die Stifte
- Der Reversing Switch vorne unten am Mechanismus schaltet auch und hat Kontakt

Auf den A- Seiten funktioniert alles Bestens,

Jemand eine Idee?

as this happens at the end of the cycle ( before actual playing the record ) this would mean
the record is loaded and clamped
the pickup arm is placed in the right position and the stylus is placed on the record

is this correct ?

B :
the next step should be that the pickup arm is released and the record should be playing

between A & B - 2 contacts should be open ( SC and O on the cam switch )

any luck solving the problem ?

if not : describe what happens after pushing the selection buttons

do you mean the B side pins in the pinbank
or the pin in the cancel solenoid ?

if you mean the pins in the pinbank and from there nothing happens
the problem is in the contact block
the pins just don't make contact with the contact block

I mean the pins in the pinbank, the pins on side B are out but the Contact Block dosen`t select the B-Sides, If I push a A- Side everything works fine but no B-Side are playing. If I watch from the side, the contact block stripes the pins like on the A-Sides but nothing happens the mechanism drives from side to side.

The wiring to the contact-block looks ok.

Do you have any idea where I should start to search the fault.

Es muß eine Unterbrechung in der Verbindung vom Reversing Switch zu der Spitze des Kontaktstifts, der den gesetzten Wahlpin berührt, geben. Der Kontaktstift wird - wenn ich mich richtig erinnere - durch eine Blattfeder in den Kontaktblock gedrückt. Diese Feder ist gleichzeitig die elektrische Verbindung zum Kontaktstift. Ich vermute, daß die Unterbrechung an dieser Kontaktstelle zu finden ist.

incase you dont have a manual : scans of the contact block & reverse switch

check with a multimeter if all the contacts in the reverse switch make contact

incase you want to check /clean the contact block :

mark the position

first remove the 2 bolts on the contact block
loosen the wire cable and pull it through the hole in the upper cabinet
remove the 4 bolt of the pinbank

Hallo, danke für die Tips ich werde mich mal am Wochenende daran machen den Kontaktblock auszubauen und die Kontakte und Kabel überprüfen.

Hallo nochmal, ich konnte es doch nicht lassen und habe mich heute Abend gleich an den Reversing Switch gemacht, nach einigem hin und her probieren konnte ich den Fehler finden. Der Fehler bestand an den LC und RC Kontakt nun funktioniern wieder beide Seiten. Jeeeeeaaaaahhh ))
