On the left side of the title drum is a cam with contact blades
These contacts prevent making multiple selections during rotating
Most likely these contacts need adjusting or the the drum slips through the cam hole of 41 - 80 section
The problem in your previous topic is most likely due to misalignment of the adjustable cams on the gripper drive shaft
Even if a record in the drum isnt prop

Dont know if the following applies to the 1458
The 1448 , and I quess the 1454 also , has on the rotating side of the selector a contact that prevents making more than one selection while rotating.
When this contact is open a selection cant be made and therefor a pin is not set .
ps tried manually flipping a pin ?
on another forum I read about the same issue where it was suggested the probl

Looks like they replaced both top caps by a single one
Google for JJ 20 20 20 40 canned cap
Al connections are used with a resistor between 2 contacts
blue/grey/red/gold which would be the 6.8 k ohm resistor , which also is mentionned in the scematics of the Amp.
Doubt if the resistor in you picture is a resistor , looks more like a cap
Specifications regarding the top caps are not men

Ok,
the full text on that cap is :

CAN NEG.

My knowledge regarding Amps is limited to say the least
Thats why my Amps are all restored by those who have this knowledge
Will get the Amp out tomorrow during daylight and check by what cap it is replaced
can also check that resistor you mentionned

Thanks , seems I have the 1546 with the Comet Fireball 120 Selection decal
But they have all the green/white number combination , unlike mine and that was what puzzled me

Let me get this right :
Either my wallbox is used with a later model 1488 or 1496
Or mine was missing the title pages and the title pages from a 120 selection 1555 were placed.
Too bad the green/white 1 to 120 are not available in the webshop
Thanks for sorting this out
Kind regards Aaldert Bruinenberg

Have a RO 1544 wallbox.
Have it connected to a RO 1448 jukebox through the 1725 stepper.
The jukebox has ofcourse a numbers selection 1 to 120 as the wallbox should have .
My 1544 has number / letter selections A1 to V6
The wallbox works as it should and it never bothered me .
But does any one know for which juke this should be used ?

As can be seen in the picture I took the cartridge apart.
At first I tried to do it myself , bought a "donor" cartridge , removed the crystal element and tried to place it in the Tonmaster cartridge.
The contact strips as well as the element are rather fragile .
Also a new rubber tube is needed because the original one has hardened .
Putting this all together was too much for me , a

According to this link both types can be used intermixed
Question 1 : can this be done replacing the 8 inch speakers of the Seeburg 100R by ceramics.
Question 2 : if this can be done which speakers have to be used ? ( wattage of the 8 inch (full range ?) ceramic speakers )
Question 3 : anyone ever done this ?

Could not only be the record holder , but also the contact block.
Both are adjustable
Also check the gripper arm and the gripper bow stop
( the bow stop could easily be bend to the left or right )

Tone arm can't be moved in resting position ( only when in play )
Therefore the trip circuit must have ended it's cycle
check the contacts on the cam switch

for those who have the same problem :
when I bought this juke making a selection wasn't possible ( just no reaction after making a selection )
at first I cleaned and adjusted the credit/cancel unit ( also new caps ) : still no reaction
next was taking a look at the selector and I noticed the rubber dampers on the treadle bar had "melted"
and parts of it had dripped down t

Hi
will do this in English for I have the same problem
don't have the problem you described with my 1448
but perhaps the following is a solution :
you have a vertical play of 0.5 mm : that's 0.25 at each end
( this also should mean you have the same horizontal play )
the axle diameter is 28.45
the wear probably ain't fully eccentric

as for discolouring over the years :
the Tonmaster has a resting position after playing a record
( rests on the dressplate after finishing a record )
you can actually see the tone-arm and brushholder support
in the discolouring on the dressplate
wonder how many years it has been in this position

sorry for the lare reaction
it's actually "klebefolie" , done by the previous owner
the original is still behind it , but according to the previous owner too damaged
at that time I wanted to restore it but couldn't find an acceptable replacement
as it is done rather good ( perfect lining and no air bubbles ) I kept it this way
the original is whiter and the structur
