received the decals today
ordered them in Germany , a lot cheaper then overhere
won't mention how much because we already have a bad reputation when it comes to this LOL
conclusions
placed the "dark red " 120 Selections on the juke because it matches the other red parts
the "middle" version is to be honest better looking
( less dark red , only the outer rims a

Hello charly49
ok , will at first go with your suggestion ( leave it as it is )
but
have to order other parts and will order these caps also
( saves me on the posting costs incase I need them in the future and those caps are not that expensive )
perhaps these caps can be tested , will ask some-one from the technical service at my workplace

ok, the capacitors still seem to be in good shape ( no leaking and the AVC seems to be working ok )
but these caps are about 60 years old
are they still in the same shape as when they were new ?
the Amp is restored by a professional
and to be honest : this rather small R-145 Amp can easily match the sound of the Seeburg 100R Amp

bought the AVC ( with yellow dot ) 1 week ago
( thought it was the best option with my Amp. )
arrived today , and as it is with new toys I plugged it in ( after checking it out )
and it actually works !!!!
conclusions :
don't know a lot when it comes to Amps and related things
but what it does is dampening the volume and probably leveling it
was it worthwhile ?
for me : yes

Die Lampe der Positionsanzeige leuchtet nicht aber ich denke das ist nicht im Zusammenhang mit diesem Fehler sondern ein defektes Leuchtmittel.
ofcourse both bulbs could be broken
but most of the time it's a contact problem
most common is the slider ( activates either the upper or under bulb ) which doesn't make contact

as above
remove lockpins from mechanism
pull mechanism forward
now you can access the lock of the backplate
see picture 1
push mechanism back
take a look at the pinbank - all pins should be facing in-ward (as in a V shape )
in your case they are not , so do it manually
see picture 2
turn on the power - nothing should happen
manually flip the A1 pin (towards you ) - now the mech

over the years I have never been able to find the Shroud and Sideplate decals
some time ago I found pictures of those on an U.K. forum
contacted the person who made the pictures and he was willing to make
more detailed pictures and mail those to me
after hours of cutting / pasting / editing etc the decals are close to the original ones
for those who are interested : you can download them

started this topic because I found a H-2260 on Ebay
also found a H-486 ( with yellow dot )
uploaded pictures
ok, this is a wild quess
but I think there is a difference
the 2260 seems to have 3 noticeable wires
the 486 also 3 , but 1 wire has (as it is bigger ) probably bundled wires

Thx for all the efforts
do you know if from the 57 revision of the Amp there were more revisions ?
for if there were none this would mean the H-2260 is the same as the H-486 with the yellow dot

Hi charly49
thx for your answer
you are right in your assumption a newer Amp. is installed
I removed the Amp , and indeed : revised june 6,1957
leaves the question about the AVC
here it's called a H-2260 :
and here a H-486 :

my objective is to restore and complete my jukes as original as possible
regarding the Ami F120 I found an AVC
info when it comes to this AVC is limited :
1 : archive on this website
2: one thread on a US forum
3: website about service bulletins
left me rather confused
are the H-486 & H-2260 the same ?
when it comes to the Amp. it becomes even more confusing

long story short ,
bought the 3W1 - had plastic "glass"- bought the decal
later on bought an original glass with the decal on it
loosened the decal - placed it on a piece of decal paper
you can have it for free
to be honest : the outer part is too yellow ( see photo )
could be a solution till you buy an original glass
the other inside & backside decals you find on Eba

a picture what Willi is saying
the reset magnet is the middle one
when the wallbox is activated , the reset magnet is activated
making it possible to hold the movements of the 2 outer magnets
once the selection is completed the reset magnet is de-activated
and because of the springs inside the both outer ones should flip back to their rest position
no current flows are possible in this

measured mine
trafo : 113 V ac
Wahlempfänger : 27.5 V ac
Fernwähler : 27 V ac
Gleichrichter 32.5 V ac - 28.5 V dc
only know the tolerance of the wallbox motor from the manual
normalspeed : 24 rpm
tollerance : 21 - 26 rpm
according to the manual the operating voltage of the wallbox is 25 V ac / 60 cycles
this all doesn't solve the problem with the GHJK selections

as above
shouldn't make any difference if they are connected directly or through the receiver
within the receiver they are connected ( see picture , this is a WRS7 but similar to the WSR5)
therefor the problem has to be in one of the connections
as for the wallbox :
could be many issues :
could be a contact in the wallbox
wallbox motor runs too fast or too slow
(this could be the

the other day a friend had a question , I wasn't able to answer it
the question :
When I was a kid, maybe 10 years old (about 1952), my Dad had a used jukebox in our basement, along with a pool table, etc. I remember I had to drop a nickel in the particular slot to make the selection, there were no pushbuttons. I remember it played 78 RPM records, but that is about all I recall, don
