transported the jukes to my home in a stationwagon
( the tonmaster could easily fit in the back of my own car )
juke on its backside , layer of foam on the bottom of the car( old matras or thick blanket does the same trick )
checking for loose parts inside the juke - mechanism fixated by the 4 screws on/below the springs - tone-arm taped
second time , when I moved to another house profe

transported my 1448 two times
the way I did it is no option for you
but if I had the transport it on a pallet I would drill 4 holes in the pallet
( where the wheels would "sink" in )
and 2 tension belts ( spangurten) over the top on each side
( between the juke and belts foam for protection )

well , if it's homemade it's atleast well done
compared to my F120 I recognize :
the pushbutton panel with the exception of the part in the middle
titlecard holders
the pinbanks
popmeter assembly
turntable mechanism ( tone arm is different )
turntable drive mechanism
record holders
(basically the whole Record Changer Mechanism is the same
exception : tone-arm & junct

had to do the same with the 1448 ( also backdoor and inside dividing panel )
34.5 is correct
ps incase you are planning to place a ceramic speaker : don't forget to instal a resistor in the speaker line

not familiar with this model ( others correct me when I am wrong )
1 : end of record contact ( you find it at the start and/or below the tone arm under the dress cap)
2 : freeplay is most of the time done by blocking or removing the countdown ratchet or disconnecting a wire from the coil
( you find this part in the credit unit )

ok , found this site :
it is in Dutch
top : length in meters
middle : voltage
bottom : power in Watts
klik hier = calculate
I filled in : 10 M - 24V - 35 Watt ( = voltage + max. Watts of the 1555 )
result : 0,45 mm
as the the cable itself : why not use a flat cable , like they use for led strips

taking in consideration your conclusion I quess you measured the micro switch
but sometimes it can be the adjustment of the lever
or the adjustment of the cam
or the lever runs partially over the other cam

hot topic , within 24 hours a lot of hits and reactions
mixed feelings
on the one hand : when one has a hobby one should be willing to take the extra mile
on the other hand : when one is at the end of the road its always good the know others who are willing to
lend a helping hand
you mentionned "Grundkenntnisse"
but there are so many different systems which have developed ove

some time ago I made a photo reportage how the to take apart/clean/ put back together again the gripper
of a RO1448 for a friend
placed it on my website
over the years the RO grippers haven't changed all that much, perhaps it will be of any use to you

easy to answer for I have been asked this question many times before
out of the ones I own :
1 : Ami F120
2 : Seeburg 100R
3 : RO 1448
currently working on a Tonmaster but I doubt if it can match to sound of the Ami and Seeburg
but to be honest : my main interest are the used techniques
( and yes I am missing one with the Simplex mechanism)

credit unit RO1448
can cap replaced by :
330uF - 63V Electr.Cap
150uF - 63V Electr.Cap
rectifier replaced by diode
spring & pin removed ( left bottom corner taped to the housing) to set on free play
A.Bruinenberg
ps the values on your can cap might be different

when I bought mine I noticed that part was bend to prevent counting down
( it is easier to remove the spring and pin as I have done now )
there should be no friction at all , should be operationable with the tip of a finger
as for capacitor : use a less expensive solution to test if its the capacitor
( will make a photo tomorrow to show you what I mean )

ok, from pictures on the net it seems the 1464 uses the same system as the 1448
what you can do :
make a note of the selections which don't work
clear all selections manually ( ofcourse with the power off !!!)
power on , and make a selection which doesn't work ( use one with an easy accessible pin on the drum )
1 : no reaction at all : pin hasn't flipped ( or not fully

for the 1725 you need :
0,05 uF - 630 V
0.47 uF - 630 V
50 uF - 50 V ELCO
photo shows also replacement rectifiers ( silicon rectifier and diode )
A.Bruinenberg
ps resistor is 22 ohm ( by the way : mine looks the same )
mailed you regarding schematics

hi
as the 1454 is similar to the 1448 a solution to a problem I encountered :
the last contact on the selector acts as a circuit breaker
( to prevent making a selection while rotating the selector )
this contact has to be fully closed ( making contact ) to make a selection

"das englische Handbuch ist schlecht übersetzt, der Limit stop bestimmt den AUFSETZPUNKT des Tonarmes. "
I know it's a crappy manual
quote from manual :
"The 401 limit stop is adjustable and determines the return movement of the tone arm "
A.Bruinenberg
ps the german manual ( available at Stamann ) is complete and correct ?
has also the electrical schematic

Hi
first of all : just recently bought a Tonmaster and in the proces of restoring it
was not in working condition when I bought it, and currently in 1001 pieces
spended a few days figuring out how it should work so I could be wrong when it comes to the following :
( do have an English manual but to be honest : crap )
" hört sich nach verjustiertem Endschalter an. Das ist der Kontakts

ordered those type of decals for the RO 1448
although I had spraypainted those parts dark brown it wasn't necessary to do so
( no light parts in the decal to show the background )
the Seeburg still has the original decal ( photo R : you can see a part were the decal has faded - it's more orange/brown )
only the front parts were gone ( photo R1 )
didn't replace those only sa
