Hi
Got a few of these a couple of months age, have two working but the other one won't work. I can't get it to select it seems if the selection assembly is dead. The select light will come one when it is credited, but the bulb for the first digit or other digts will not come on and solenoid will not energise. Have given the switches a good cleaning and have swapped over another keyboard

Just as an add on, i seem to be able to select A1 to .....J1 and A2 to....J2 but this occurs on the A9 to J9 page and A0 to...J0 page, the other pages mostly dont' select but sometimes a selection will work but it will always be from A1 to J1 and A2 to J2, any reason why this happens or what cabn be done to rectify this

Hi
I finally dismantled the item and as expected the white gear was cracked, i sanded it down and reassembled the unit. Now when i select on the wallbox, i can see the 1765 receiver carrying out the stepping action, however on rare occasions it will select a record, most times the write in arm will circle around the wobble plate but will not select a pin, other times the current limiting light w

Sorry, i mistyped it, its a rockola 434 and stepper 1765, to disassemble - does the whole thing need to be dismantle, just want to avoid taking anything apart that i dont' need to, also when sanded should the plastic gears move freely by hand

Thanks Marc.
was going to check the relay itself tonight, have to take out the amp and extend a few cables, as a matter of interest what specification is on the relay(ohms) and where did you source it

Hi
This machine has a working 41056-1A tube amplifier for sound anyway. I have cleaned all contacts in the control box, mute realy and play control relay, however i don't have the mute function. There is no mute before the start of the record or at the end of the record. Also there is no mute if i scan the record basket, any suggestions. I have measure the resistance of the resistors around

This jukebox when it is switched on it starts to select and play every record almost as if it is going through a test mode. The voltages on the power supply are lit up and all fuses are fine. I know if the 9,6 volts is off tolerance it will lead to unusual thing happening with the machine, i didn't have a meter with me so was unable to check, just wondering if anyone has come across this bef

Hi
This jukebox was working fine until lately. Now when a record is selected it will select ok but will not reject at the end of the record, (i am more familiar with rockolas's and wurlitzers from the 70's and 80's), i presume the reject is controlled by a blade switch or microswitch. Has anyone any advise on this on what might be causing this problem

Hi
It counts the steps while the carriage is moving, it moves a couple of times per dialed record, is this something to do with the LR relay and trip solenoid

Hi
I think i have found the problem, the coil resistance was fine but where the read out is attached to the wobble, there is a nut and bolt, the nut was a large one and at certain times depending where the arm stopped the rim of the bolt was touching the inner track and perhaps causing the short circuit, (i hope), the fuse hasn't blown since, thanks for all your help

Hi
thanks for that, the 15 ohm resistor is reading about 15.1, i'll check out the coils and hopefully its just one of them or the wiring to the coils, and get back to you

Hi
I cleaned all of the relays in the control box, and i started to adjust the record slots so that they would align with the gripper arm, seems to work ok but now the 1.6 amp fuse is blowing fairly frequently, but i wonder--the power supply puts out 28 volt dc for the motors, but i notice that the magazine and gripper motors are marked 22 volt dc, would this possibly interfere with the braking

Alles rund um Musikboxen
Hi
Thanks for the reply, i have tried the adjustment screw but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference, while it can be just about adjusted so that the first record A1 is grabbed by the gripper, it puts the alignment out further on in the record basket, and after a couple of tries at record A1, the basket starts to revert back towards record C1(second record compartment in the basket).

Hi
I have a rockola 432 which works ok except that the record basket seems to be out of alignment with the wobble plate-read out arm, for example the first record which is A1, when this is selected the basket will stop at the next record which is C1 and this mainly continues nearly the whole way up the list of records which would be ok except that in certain instances the the alignment is such t
