Hello Sean,
I do have manuals for a number of the Playmate boards, but at the moment I can not locate the one that is for your board.
I will have a search and see what I can find.

Hello Robert,
On the NSM 76 amplifier, from the drawing I can not see any output where you can take out an auxillary output however on the drawing the output from IC 11/3 on pin 8 is 220mv before or possibly after C21 0.22uf might be a location to get an output.

Hello,
Years ago when we were producing Rowe Ami hideaways I used to take the mechanism's home, strip of the motors and wiring and wash them in the bath with just shampoo with the shower head to get all the dirt off. In order to dry them I would put the mechanism on top of the free standing boiler I had at the time. When dry I would strip them down and relub and do all the adjustments. It

Hello Sean,
I think you have been in contact with me on another forum regarding other issues with this wallbox.
If you have the manual you will need to programe the wallbox for your jukebox type and technology i.e. Rowe Ami, electromechanical, R-80S to R-83, R-84 onwards.
One of the issues with this jukebox is that the supply voltage 28/30 volts AC needs to be the correct way round on the c

Hello,
I have a Hit 130 which is very similar to the Serenade jukebox that you have. Mine is faulty problems with the carriage and the front glass shattered.
Hildegard Stanmann tells me that see has a manual for the Hit 130, usually the NSM manuals from this period covered three models.
I would contact Hildegard or Oliver to get a price on the manual, in addition they have had some carriage

Hello Bjorn,
Are you sure of the amplifier number, for this jukebox the amplifier is normally a 50M producing 2 x 35 watt into 4 ohms.
The speakers are 8 (woofers) and 4 ohms (tweeters).
If this is the amplifier then Hildegard & Oliver have schematics of this amplifier, if you have any problems getting a copy then please feel free to contact me.

Hello Rick,
There are some pictures of these jukeboxes in the Archive section of this site that show the amplifier, it looks typical of the era very similar to the ones used in Ami and Rock Ola of this period.
If I find anything out re this amplifier I will contact you.

Hello Martin,
If your chrome is in good condition as you say I would just use a non abrasive polish just to keep it sparkling.
When I used to be in the amusement industry years ago we were always told a clean machine is always played more than a dirty one, part of our kit was tins of glass cleaner and polish.

Hello Sean,
Which Playmate Rusic wallbox version do you have?
I have parts from the early version up to the Mark 4 version.
These wallboxes were made by Hazel Grove Music of Manchester, they were made to work with several types of jukebox.
Some of HGM wallboxes had boards in that were produced by MHG (Music Hire Group Leeds).
Please contact me if you need parts or advice.

Hi Kurt,
If the battery test does not select all of the records A and B sides, you will need to check the tormat pins to make sure that the very fine braded cable is attached to each of the pins. You may as well clean the tormat, this is best done using a pencil rubber (eraser) this will clean off all of the built up tarnish without doing any damage. The tormat can then be wiped with a lint fr

Hello Xpinger,
I would check out all of the reject circuits out first. Disconnect the reject on the back of the back of the jukebox and do the same if you have a reject on your remote control. The reject on the tone arm should not be the issue.

Hello Ewald,
Sorry to hear of you problems, buying from abroad can be a problem I tend to use Paypal, but again this is not always safe if the seller ends their paypal account then Paypal can not get a payment out of the seller even if they moderate in your favour.
There are many honest dealers world wide, I hope you have better luck in the future.

Hello Sebastian,
The first thing you need to do is source a manual for the jukebox, I have had a quick look on this site for a manal but I can not see one, I would contact Hidegard or Oliver Stanmann to check. If they do not have a manual then I would go to www.victoryglass.com.

I confir that the mechanism (carousel) is a Harting or a Sound Leisure mechanism which was based on the Harting technology.

Hello Gisela,
It is good that you have found a local engineer, if they can not fix the problem for you, they can take out the boards that a Rowe Ami engineer would need to test.
In the UK I would ask for the following boards be sent to me for testing and repair:-
Memory Unit 301-07855
Mechanism Control Unit 401-06905
Selector Logic 601-08060
The above boards contain cmos chips and are

Hello Danyel,
The Mars coin mechanism that is fitted to your Rowe Ami R-84 jukebox would have been supplied from the 28 volt supply via a Mars interface (this could have been made by Ami or a third party) the voltage on this inferface is reduced to 12 volt to supply the Mars mechanism. I would suspect that you must have engineers that could reprogram the mechanism at a cost.
I would however

Hello Danyel,
I would check that the screws that hold the motor to the plate are tight, I find that these do come loose with time.
In order to get to these screws you need to drop the Motor Mounting Plate Assembly (303-05129) this can be done by removing the three (2BA) screws that hold it to the mechanism.
Whilst you are checking the screws that hold the motor to the plate you may as we

Hello 2007tomtom,
Does the jukebox have to be a Wurlitzer OMT? I prefer the Rowe Ami or Antique Apperatus version (that used the Rowe Ami parts) they would have been based on the R-89 to R-93 jukebox.
As Ralf says it would be best if you post this message in the Bulleting Section.

Hello Gisela,
Your jukebox was produced by Rowe Ami in 1978, it was available in two cabinet trims the Woodhue and the Black Magic.
The Woodhue was a mixture of brown, orange and red colours around the title window the cabinet was brown.
The Black Magic was in blue, black with a black cabinet. A striking jukebox.
The faults on these jukeboxes are usually down to dry joints on the electr
