I find this forum to be fair in its approach to new forum members, as with all forums a few of the members can get a little upset with posters who have not bought, read and digested the contents of their manual.
Language can be a problem of course but we all tend to use translation software and hope for the best.

Hello James,
You have got the incorrect connections for the volume control for a 2 wire hook up the 10k log control should go across pins 1 & 2.

Hello Dan,
You say that the turntable motor shaft is tapered, this is not correct the shaft is parallel with two steps on the top of the shaft that the two speed springs can be fitted (33.3 rpm & 45 rpm) speed spings are required for the use of 60 htz designed motors in Europe.
Have you stripped down the motor to inspect the bearings and shaft for wear? Remove any gunk from the bottom bea

Of course I would suggest that Rowe Ami have the best sound.
Their jukeboxes from the mid 70's and early 80's do take some beating on sound. My favourite are the TI-1, TI-2 the sound separation and cabinet design give a first class sound, any of the Rowe ami jukeboxes that had the 64 watt (601-02179 or the european export model R-2179A) amp. After saying that the 125, 130 and 250 wa

Hello James,
Welcome to the forum.
Charly49 is correct, if you do not have the volume control fitted into the amplifier then you do not get any sound.
In the pre-amp chassis you may find the following pre-amps R-3788B (two wire control) and R-3805 (five wire screen, a split channel pre-amp). These numbers are etched into the copper work.
The amplifier volume plug is wired for a 5 wire s

Hello Houstin,
I have to agree with Charly49 you need to sort out all of the 110 volt wiring first before you go any further.
I would look for a suitable professional in your country to undertake this for you by replacing the mains wiring and making sure the power supply is safe to use.
Most of these I have worked on in the past were a sorry state brittle cables and fitted with over rated

Hello Stefan,
These boards are not for the faint hearted they have some CMOS chips in them and are subject to static discharge handling techniques. The boards interact with each other so when we repair them we ask for the following boards which we then test/repair:-
Memory Unit 601-07666 (it could however have the later 301-07855 fitted)
Selector Logic 601-0860
Mechanism Control 401-06905

Hello Eric,
When we operated machines we tended to use stuff such as Mr Sheen or any spray cleaner/polish.
The thought at the time was a clean and sparkling machine took more money than a dirty one.

Hello jukebox collector,
I agree with Oliver that you need to make sure that the motor id performing correctly and the saft and bearings are good and lubricated.
Looking at your video clips the speed is slow both on 33.3 and 45rpm when looking at the strobe disk. You will need to increase the size of the two speed springs that you have fitted to the motor shaft.

Hello nostalgia,
Welcome to the forum, sorry you did not give your name.
On the power supply you say the blown fuse was in the lefthand fuse of the cluster of 3 fuses? Is this fuse marked up 30 volts AC? a 6 1/4amp fuse or is it one of the other fuses.
If the 30 volt fuse has blown then you need to check the following motors and coils for shorts.

Hello Daren,
I have been on holiday for just over 10 days or I could have supplied you with the jumper card or the connection information,
I still have cards for all the Rowe Ami versions, Rock Ola, NSM, Wurlitzer. I also have the conversion pack for the Rowe Ami R-80S to R-83 jukeboxes that required the additional - voltages.
One of the issues with this wallbox was that the power connecti

My taste in music has changed over the years I still love to listen to hard rock/progressive music from the late 60's & 70's but these days I can listen to anything else other than Jazz & Country & Western. I was never a fan of Elvis (shock!) He did a few films at the time I liked.

Hello tazonam,
Charly is correct you do not need the battery backup for general operation of the Memory Unit. You could have bad connections (dry joints on the connection pins or dirty connections in the molex plugs) I would check for wear on the bottom two wipers on the Encoder (these tend to wear the most on the wiper assembly due to a bad design).
If you can not sort out the issues on yo

Hello Andre,
ON NSM & Seeburg you need the the force gauge which is a minature version of a fish weighing balance scale.
I have not seen any of these for sale anywhere for years, the last time i used one of these must be over 30 years ago with Rowe Ami you can use the balancing bar type or the digital type of force scale.

Hello Bob,
Thank you for posting the drawings, I will have a look at them and see if I can find a solution, but after saying that charly49 has come out with a good solution. I would keep the replacement 28 volt lamps at a very low wattage and protect with a suitable sized fuse connected in line. To do this however you may need a good 28 volt supply and low loss cable (hefty current wise) or yo

Hello 24AB2,
You say there were no pushbuttons was there a rotary dial to select the records?
Being as you say it was not wooden and had coloured lights I would suggest a early to late 1940's jukebox, with regards to the records it could have been a 20 or 24 selection jukebox, I would have a look in the archieve section as charly49 suggests but I would look for a Rock Ola jukebox.

I have just measured a glass dome that I have in stock, no collar fitted at 680mm. As you say it would be difficult to produce them identical because it would have been how much would have been ground off of the base to fit the collars.

Hello BTTV,
Somewhere at the back of my mind I can remember that we used to wire Seeburg wallboxes onto Rowe Ami jukeboxes, we did this in the mid 70's when I worked at Dransfield's at Leeds in the UK.
The only thing I can remember that we had to rewire the Rowe Ami stepper because the pulse train from the Seeburg wall was completly the reverse. so all the wires on the letter and

Hello Oliver,
The AMR Rowe Ami book shows pictures of the I through to the Continental 2 showing the pattern that you have in the silver, copper and blue however the colour of the pattern can not be seen due to the black & white pictures.
There is also a picture of the 1961 hideaway that shows the automix plate that you have available.

Hello Charly49,
I must have had a senior moment of course on the 1100 mechanism the solenoid pulls in the toggle link for A sides.
As you say it can be down to a gummy coil or or the linkage not being free. What I described was be true on a 1200 mechanism with regards to the solenoid.

If the A1 pin is not pushed out on the search unit I would check the open relays on the keyboard and clean them with a paper taper pulled through the contacts. also do this on the search unit open relays S1 & S2 and check the operation of the c
