Hi
I connected up the amp still same problem. The motor runs when i press scan or make a selection if i manually activate the coupling the carriage will move. There had been a blue wire loose from the plug at the back of the carriage. I resoldered it back in. Just wondering if it was doubled up with another connection. Would someone have a photo to compare. Strangely when the jukebox is on stan

Hi
I have had this jukebox previously working. Have had sound problems so amp is disconnected at the moment although i suspect a defective cartridge as i can hear slight hum from speakers. My problem is that the carriage will not scan or scan when a selection is made. The decoupling solenoid does not energise. Has anyone come accross a similar problem like this

Hi
Thanks for that i think my existing 28vac transformer wasn't working, so i used a spare one i had and as you correctly said the search motor started.
I have a few other minor issues I am missing a turntable and not sure if i am missing any other bits underneath the turntable, its difficult from the manual to make the parts out, so would someone if they had this type of jukebox or a cont

Hi
Looking for some help and advice with this jukebox. The machine has credits, the letter and number keys all latch in when making any selection. However my search motor is not starting. If i manually operate the sprag relay, the selection pin will be hit and the mechanism will operate and select the record. My problem seems to be confined to the selection unit and associated relays. Has anyone

Hi
Thanks, what components on the control board would be suspect for the trip relay.

Hi
I have this es2 wallbox and hideaway jukebox. At times and more frequently the carriage is not stopping at the selection. I can hear it click as it passes the selection but it doesn't stop. Any ideas on what the problem might be such as the trip relay or trip solenoid. The display is counting up and down

Hi
Having a problem with machine, has been working ok for a number of years and the other day when I made a selection, it selected, record was placed on turntable, tone arm advanced to start of record but now no music can be heard and the record will not reject, the fuse on the mechanism control pcb was blown and I replaced, but no difference. Thanks Hildegard, Thanks Alan
I kind of thought as much, the playmates are a bit big, i just thought there may be an interface in existence for the nsm''s and the older mechanical wallboxes. I know there is an interface for the nsm cd jukeboxes in the USA

Hi
Or maybe someone with this type of wallbox could verify if the white plastic sleeve around the shaft at the back of the title holders can be moved independently of the metal rod

Hi
Is there anyone with this type of wall box if they could verify whether the plastic tube with the individual fins on the metal shaft can move independently,

Hi
I am using this wallbox , but the other night I can't seem to turn the title holder pages, the first page will turn and that's about it. I hadn't any problem with the before. I never really looked at the way the pages are turned at the back of the assembly. There is a plastic tube with fins on it on a metal shaft, there is a fin corresponding to each page. I am not sure whethe

Hi
I replaced diode 79 and the selection system is back working. So overall i replaced diode 79, diode 92 and resistor R42. As suggested the faulty diode 79 must have been causing the problem or perhaps R42. Thanks for you help with this problem. The other board with the faulty optocoupler chip I will change and see if this solves the problem. ( received a replacemnt in the post today)
thanks

Hi
I replaced the broken diode 92 . I just applied a very small pressure to diode 79 and it was brittle and snapped. I checked resistors 40 and 42. R40 was fine, R42 was reading slightly low so i replaced it. Have to get it all back together later and see if it has helped the problem, will update later tonight

Hi
I bridged pin 5 to ground on the connector but the K led light is still lit. I have noticed now on an intermittent basis when machine is turned on the K led will go out. I was able to make one selection but after the K led remained lit. I measured zero volts on pin 12/13. Initially when I placed probe on pin12 the led started to flicker. I then measured pin 11 using pin 7 as ground but I am

Hi
I took a look at the light gates and cleaned the transistor but no change. To test the light gates I had in storage another SCC. This particular one in storage is faulty as it will not make a selection and the fault is likely to be IC16 on this scc as when you switch computer off and then on it will select. I just tried it to test the light gates. Z will pulse at each space and K will pulse a

Hi
I bridged the pins having first removed the plug. When plug is removed and machine switched on both leds are lit. If i bridge pins "1" and "2" i get no response, if i bridge pins "4" and "5" i also get no response. Both leds still remain lit, even though the "Z" led seems to operate under normal conditions and pulses when the basket is scanned

Hi
Can somebody help with the following, if i remove light barrier plug from the SCC and jumper the pins, should i get the following, "Z" led should flash if I jumper pins "1" and "2". "K" led should flash if i jumper pins "3" and "4".
If both flash is this likely to point at a problem with the light barrier or connections at the carr

Hi"
I turned the memory to off but the problem is still the same. Just to say that the "Z" led flashes for each record space but the "K" led does not flash for each cycle, the "K" led is constantly lite, what could cause this problem. It seems as if the jukebox can't find its starting point

Hi
Back again with one of these machines. Previously worked and now when a selection is made the record basket rotates about three record spaces and then stops and that's it. It does this no matter what selection is made, has anyone seen this problem before

Hi Alan
The error 34 seems to have gone since I cleaned the opto. The machine selects and plays fine now. The pnly issue is for example if I make 5 selections the first plays ok' record finishes but then on the second the machine sits for about 50 seconds and then plays fine and the other remaining ones play fine.
Its almost if the machine is thinking or processing the info.

Hi
I have to admit I made a stupid error, I set it to free play but didn't save it correctly as per the manual, I was wondering why the led display was not lighting up or indicating anything. For now anyway it seems to select ok but now and again it may miss a selection and display error 34, but if I clear that error and make same selection it goes ok. I am familiar with the opto switch on
