How can I install the top dome on an Ami model I?
The big glass window and window frame are still on the jukebox but it is hard to get the top dome in place (especially with chrome top casting of the model I)
Please don't tell me I need to detach the complete window assembly from the jkuebox....

Hallo,
Sorry, I can't write in German so I'll do in Englsch. Hope that's okay with you.
When the record cuts off too early, adjust the cut off switch. It's underneath the tone arm. It's a black micro switch and you you can just see it in you're attached picture.
About the turntable speed: do you have a 50Hz conversion spring on the motor shaft? If not, do so.

Hello Sabel
Have you ever tried to push the release lever down, while the record is put back? Perhaps you can watch where it hangs.
Best regards - charly49
Thanks Charly,
I didn't take the release lever completely off but lubricated it from te outside. I think the oil needed some time to pentrate very well onto the turning point. Because now the lever comes down much f

Oh how I hate working on the seeburg mechs.... :(
I took out the clutch. Nothing was stuck. Checked all the arms and rollers. Then lubricated everything. Cams, rollers, levers, axles, everything.
Put I all together again and followed the manual to do some adjustments.
Unfortunately the problem is still here. It still repeats records. But not always.

Hello Charly,
Thanks again. I'll dismantle the mech. Take out the record magazine. I've done this before a couple of yrs ago when I also had problems with the clutch itself and the detent switch was broken off one time. I do have the manual and can manage this. It's just a lot of work.
I'll let you know how it turn out

Hi Charly49,
Thank you for your reply and tips!
I checked the Release Lever and indeed it does NOT return to the rest position when the record is played again. Sometimes it does return correctly and then the record is not played again and all is good.
Anyway, the lever does nog return completely and the fransfer cycles begins again with the same record. The Trip Solenoid is NOT actuated agai

Hi all,
My Seeburg V200 has been playing perfectly for years but lately it keeps repeating the records. Most of the times it repeats the records 3 or 4 times. Sometimes though it just plays a record once as it should. So it varies.
I took a close look at the mech when the record is put back in the magazine. All records are picked en played fine. When the record is finished the clutch engages

Okay, just to let you guys know how things are going.
My selection issues are solved. Turned out to be an oldfashioned broken wire in the loom. So all is good now.
Thanks for the support!

So I worked on the 1458 selection drum last weekend. Before opening up the drum I ohmed out every single contact and coil on the unit.
I found about 5 selection coils that read lower resistance (about 1.5 to 2.0 ohms) that the rest (around 3.5 ohms). Desoldered one end of the coils and all measured okay. Turned out that the contact strip (ground side of the coils) which makes contact with the cl

Thanks charly49 for you reply!
Yes what you're saying is what I figured. The 'hot' end of the selection coils powered from the keyboard are indeed interconnected. So yes, # 1-blue, # 1 yellow and # 1-red (which are actually #1, #41 and #81) are directly connected. Yes, only one Group Coil (clapper) is activated (the correct one) so the blue-yellow-red-push button bar is OK. I meas

Hi Tim,
Do you mean the clapper contacts on the drum? Yes I did and they all measure with no resistance.
Every selection coil meaasures about 5 ohms iirc; so do the clapper coils.
I think the issue must have something to do with the grounding on the drum / pinbank. When I had the drum on the bench and measured everyting (coils, grounding etc) I noticed that any given selection coils gets groun

Dear juke lovers!
I am Rudolf from the Netherlands. A short bit of history: many years ago I bought an Ami H200E and fully restored it. Had it for 15 years playing in the livingroom. About six years ago I thought is was time for something else, so traded the Ami for a V200.
I love working on the old machines so much and the V200 had been trouble free for many years now. So last winter I bought
