Eltec F100 cartridge replacement to replace Merula SK451

Hello to everyone from down here in Australia.

I am restoring an Eltec F100 jukebox and the original crystal cartridge is beyond repair and I am looking to replace it with a stereo cartridge.
I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the output voltage of the original Merula cartridge is so I can match it with a replacement? Mine has a 1 M Ohm resistor in series coming off the cartridge but I am not sure what this does to the signal voltage. (drop the voltage)?
I am using the original valve amplifier which has been repaired to working status.
I will try to get a ceramic cartridge which has a higher output voltage but I don't think this will be as high as the original crystal cartridge.

Maybe someone has already replaced a Merula cartridge and can suggest a replacement model?

Thanks for any advice.

Tim.
