Hi
Looking for help with this jukebox. The machine was working perfectly up to a number of weeks ago and then one day a loud hum was evident, and the music is barely audible. The loudness of the hum increases when the volume on the control is raised. No hum is evident when the tone arm plug is removed or when the remote/volume control plug is removed. All fuses are ok and all led's are lighting as they should, no grounding issues with the machine or lighting circuit. I have a few spare control centre boards and amplifier pcb's so i have swapped and changed about with no luck, anyone any ideas
regards
Seancalla

Hello Seancalla!
The Type is not ES 11 (eleven) it is ES II.
I think your Problem is in the Cable from the Pickup to the Amplyfier.
Make a Control of the Resistance from the Pickup on the Plug which is
connected in the Amplyfier. I belive the Shield of this Cable is interrupted.
mfg Willi!

Thanks for the reply, i presume it wont affect the mute function, or why do NSM wire the tone arm cables to the carriage pcb in the first place and then to the amp
