MSN HIT 120 A to repair.

Help!
Just got a NSM HIT 120 A. Needs biiig repair and I don't even know where to start!!
Can someone please advise me?

Opening the lid is always a good idea

What do you mean with "big repair"?
At first you should check for missing parts, visibly broken parts. Check if fuses are intact and have the correct value.
If you don't have a manual, get one.

Thanks for the response. Well, yes I opened the lid and got scared :0)
First question: After all the pictures I have seen on the internet, I am not sure if this is a HIT 120 A or B.
Is there a site where I may understand the differences. I need to know, in order to get a Manual.
Secondly, the whole machine is greasy with a lot of dust!. Should I clean it? If so, what should I use?

If you don't know, which manual fits, call the owners of the shop. Mrs. or Mr. Stamann will help you, to get the right manual. They speak English very well.

Naturally the machine should be cleaned. You need for it some tools, a service manual and a lot of technical skill. The machine must be taken apart for a correct cleaning. If it is working correctly, you can do it later.
