NSM firebird sound problem - please help

Hi all.
I have just bought a NSM firebird jukebox but it seem to have a problem with the sound.
When a cd is played the volume is very low! When turning up the volume I can not hear any sound until it reaches volume 10 and when it reaches 20 the volume is so i can hear what is playing but it is like the sound is still to low.
It is also like the sound is not right, almost like I only hear the bass.
I have tried with different speakers and I do not think they are the problem.

If anyone have had this problem or know what to do about it I would like to hear from you, please.
