help me my 1493 won't replace the disc!!

Hallo! My apologies for posting in English. Lovers of the German language would not be impressed with my German..

My Princess suddenly refused to end the record and return the disc to the carousel! Moving the tone arm manually to the "eject" point did not work...nor did pressing the "eject" button on the remote volume control.

I have looked in the relay box below the mech. and can confirm that the relay which drives two contacts is moving, closing nicely, but not activating any mechanical movement!?

Have you checked the fuses? Can you move the mechanism easily if you turn the shaft of the gripper motor by hand?
