Wurlitzer 2600 - problems

Hi

The machine is blowing 5 amp fuses which I have solved by removing the 'Reverse Switch' plug from the Relay Box, however I think the mechanism may be stuck as both gripper arms are trying to go up because of a spring force.
I cannot get the Turntable motor to operate or the magazine motor to operate. The lower (Cancel ?) motor does occassionally work when buttons are pressed but only for a few moments.

Is there a another way that I can reset the mechanism so that it can be set to its proper start position.

Hi

Having now worked through the problem of the mechanism, I found that the record lift arms and linkage had been previously re-assembled wrongly.

I have managed to get the arms to go most of the way down but I cannot adjust them enough (with the adjustment screw) to get them to rest against the stop.

Has anyone got any ideas please ?

All suggestions are usefull as there maybe something I have done wrong or that I am missing.


Second:- Does anyone know a good source for the Silicon Diodes used in Wurlitzers (2600), please ?
