NSM concert III problem

Hello I have a Concert III that I inherited from my father.A)Does anyone know about programming.It was working,my father took the carrier down to transport it like he did when he bought it, we put it back on and now it will scan when a record is selected, but always stops at 260. Any help will be appriciated, I've done some electronics repair and my first project is a wurlitzer americana, but this was supposed to be a plug and play....
