Thank-you for the reply. I have the carriage sitting on the service rod away from the rack. If I push the trip and activate the unit the plate push rod lifts and the gray clamp plate closes, I hold the tone arm and feel a slight pressure trying to pull it back, after a very short period of time the gray plate moves back and the plate push rod returns. NSM Consul 120 - 2 Monate - Months

I have a Consul 120, GST120 Serial #8106, that I have been trying to have working again. Have followed a flow chart thru the process, because parts are so rare I have made a couple of modifications and now are at this point. The unit will take a selection and remove record from the rack, but then after a slight pause, returns the record. The record does not even turn, just sits loose in the unit
