Serial number is 3107 but scc is that model so I'll change transistors anyway.

Ok a little further, I replaced two 220uf 63v caps and also the large 2200uf 50v
Now when powering on I now get a display on the front panel that only shows a 0
The cd arm immediately starts up and goes through the process of picking up a cd, putting it on the cd player and immediately puts it back.
It just keeps repeating this action.
I can't seem to get it into service mode ei

Yes good advice.
I do have a means if testing a capacitor out of circuit but after removing I may as well fit a new one.

Yes this cap above the lithium battery.
It does indeed have a dead short, thank you.
I'll get one ordered and replace, is there any other caps I should replace on this scc?

How do I tell the Eprom version, I cannot get the display to work at the moment.

The bar was bent causing switch k8 to be open in the wrong position. Switch k7 has a crack, I noticed only when opening the link you sent me so I'll be ordering one of those.
Ok, when turning on the carousel does not turn I I manually open the latch it turns and I get the red LEDs operate on the scc.
Unfortunately after 2 turns the display does not operate, I read this co

Thank you. Are switches k7 and k8 normally open or closed. They are both open currently with the cd grab arm in the vertical position.

Wow thank you so very much. Very helpful information.
I'm located in Portugal but the jukebox is originally from France I think as the credits say francs.
This morning I was fiddling with the machine. I closed a micro switch called k8 and then opened the carousel switch and the basket turned and as you said the two red LEDs on the scc flashed in sequence.
