Ok. I did not diagnose the Elkos correctly. The only parts the repair man used was 2 Elko capacitors and 3 fuses on the amp board. I shot myself in the foot. I did however also get the SCC updated with 3 relays, 10 transistors and one capacitor. Thanks again for your advice. Main thing is i now have a working jukebox again. GOD bless.

Thank you Swen. Sorry for confusion. The jukebox is now in the same condition it was before testing the diodes. It will light up but no response from the selector buttons. It still blows the 3 amp fuses.

Thank you so much for your help. Unfortunately i miss diagnosed the diodes. A local repair shop replaced both the D8 and D9 I told them that the D8 was bad and to replace D9 also if any doubts. The diodes were so inexpensive that he replaced both and only charged me $2 total. He said the old ones were good but did not test them before removing them because of the bad information i gave him. Dummy me. I got the board out without taking the whole panel out. Off to the electrical shop. Will get back to you after the diode is replaced. Thanks for all your help.

Took a few days for fishing. Now back to the OMT issue. Is there a secret to disconnecting the input ac cord at the power supply. That 3 wire white plastic connection is a bugger, I don't want to destroy anything in the process. I am taking the board to an electrical shop to get the diode replaced. I am not skilled enough at soldering to do it myself.

I removed all external input wire harnesses from amplifier. With both fuses in only the S14 blew immediately. The S13 stayed good. Before it was reversed. The S13 blew and S14 stayed for a short time.

Thank you Swen. The fuse that always blows is marked as S13 the other fuse that does not immediately blow is S14. When i lift the record carrier arm the turn table does turn. Don't know if that helps you in assessing the problem. You are so kind to offer suggestions. If i had a local repair person i would gladly have them come to the house or take it to their shop.

Thank you for this forum. My jukebox problem to begin with was that during the record being picked and attempting to play the record would set down on top of the tone arm. I was able to get record out and the 1st time this happened i could still play records. That was about 2 years ago. I was going to donate the OMT to a local museum and thought i should make sure it would play ok. Sure enough th
