From outer ring to inner (anti clockwise ), see pictures
( most likely you placed it in the inner )
Test the gripper manually, loosen the gripper motor bolts and turn the mechanism by hand.
This way you can prevent what happened to yours

Same problem with my 1448
Had a conversion spring ( 60 >50 hrz )
Result : running too fast ,
Took a piece of emery cloth to sand away a small part of the conversion spring.( making the diameter smaller )
Using a strobe disk sanding away little by little till I had the right speed .
ps , just remove the idler wheel , turntable motor running , emery cloth and you get an even surface.

Credit where credit is due.
I didnt make the emblems and the perspex parts.
( wish I had the skills and equipment )
Found someone overhere who still likes to do these things after his retirement.
I made the drawings , send the material and got the parts back as shown in the pictures above.
All I did was cutting the parts in the right measurements and glueing them together.
Costs inluding

New titleboards .
Little difference between the earlier and later type .
With the earlier one the complete titleboard goes behind the vertical red bars on the titleboard holder.
With the later type only the clear part .
No numbers yet , will use a waterslide decal for all , but as I cant print white the original white on the earlier type will be yellow .
( later type uses black numbers)

Download a strobe disk , glue it to a ruined record , check if it has the right speed and irregularities in speed
In my case the upper bearring of the turntable motor was worn as the rotor shaft was.
( solved the rotor shaft wearring by removing material from the bottom plate and therefor the worn part was above the new bearring)
You can use the tube light of the juke as test light.

First picture : one of the NSM belts is placed inside the original belt .
Second picture : belts placed , moved the position of the motor as close as possible towards the pulley.
The "olive" shape part on the shaft of the motor should keep the belt in place , which actually works .

Thx for the info , the NSM drive will surely do ( have about 3mm motor adjusting space )
But what about the width ? 5mm ?
Will make a few high resolution pictures of the 2 drive systems
included picture shows the different interiour decoration

Bought last summer an Eltec F60 ( took me years to find one )
Bought a month ago another one ( what are the odds ? )
Fabrik nr first one 1932 , Fabrik nr. second one 1581.
Altough a hundreds apart there is quite some difference.
The earlier nr. has a different interiour decoration , different title boards and holder , has no Eltec F60 emblem , the glass can only be removed from the insi

Bought a W5250 wallbox for my W2500
Took it apart , cleaned it , put it back together again , tested it , perfect working order.
Made the title strips and wanted to place them .
Noticed something strange : the numbering wasnt the same as with the juke : see picture
Checked the net and the first hit showed the W5210 wallbox.
Conclusion : the titlepages belong to the W5210.
Checked a lot more

Only trying to find an affordable solution , these voltage converters are about $20 to $30 in the USA.
A herz converter is a lot more expensive , not to mention the combination of both.
If the turntable drive system is similar to most other jukes you could also make the diameter of the top of the rotor smaller till you reach the right speed

Well , aint a potentiometer basically a variable resistor ?
One could also use the right resistor to bring down the current.
But please correct me if I am wrong for I have only basic knowledge when it comes to these issues.
Edit : only meaning bringing down the current to the turntable motor

You need something like this ( see pictures)
The brand is available in the USA (ofcourse there are also other brands)
To overcome the 50hz / 60hz problem ( turntable motor will run at a higher speed) you could use a simple potentiometer
