It seems, the programming of menupoint 694 (PLAY LIMIT) in the servicemenu is wrong.

To correct this, yuo must proceed as follows:

1. To enter the servicemode, set the SERVICE SWITCH to "SERVICE" position. The display will show "SERVICE MODE".

2. If the message "ERRORS EXIST" is shown, this is an indication, that one or more errors are logged. In this case, press the "POPULAR" - Button to skip the message.

3. Press the Buttons 6 - 9 - 4. The display shows "PLAY LIMIT" and a number. This is the time (in seconds) to play before the CD will be cancelled. Valid tiomes are from 60 to 999 seconds. A "0" indicates that the function is disabled.

4. Type the number you want (for example "000" to disable the function) and then press the POPULAR - Button to enter the new value.

5. Set the SERVICE SWITCH in "ON" - position or close the front door. That's all.
