SEEBURG 100 GOLDENJET SELECTION

Hello to all,

i have an issue with the selections of my SEEBURG 100 SE GOLDENJET.
Basically the B sides - even numbers (a2 a4 a6... and so on) are not selected. The A sides work regularly.

I have tried with removing the jack and i have tried the battery method.

Do you have any other way to try and restore the selections?
Also, i could buy a new tormat but honestly i am not able to change it myself and i am not sure this will actually solve the problem.

Thank you very much for your help

Hello mercury32,
what was the result of the battery test? All A-sides but no B-side played ?

Correct! no b-sides read.

Please read here: [www.jukebox-world.de]
According to the schematics, I think the SE100 mechanism (145TS13) uses mechanic switching between the A/B Side readout contacts, so the second reason explained in the link could be your problem:
"The search contact is misaligned. The read-out circuit is switched mechanically. The search contacts are mounted under the tormat. The not employed contact is lifted by a plastic slider. When the left or right end position is reached, the plastic slider rises up against a stop and is moved. It is possible that one day the running direction has been switched manually without the carriage having reached the end position. As a result, the search contact runs in the wrong direction, hits the contact rivets of the Tormat and is bent or damaged."
