Dear Jukebox friends,
I'm a Dutch guy living in Bangkok and picked up my old hobby on restoring jukeboxes again to help some people here to enjoy the wonderful machines.
I'm currently working on an AMI I-200, which unfortunately has been repaired in the past the Asian style with many bypasses so brought it almost back to original.
The following problem occurs, when selecting an odd number, it all works fine, however when selecting an even number the DC fuse blows. this happens when the popped out selector pin is hit. I've disconnected the stopping switches to check on their function and both are fine. I suspected the toggle shifter solenoid, however when manually put in the even position, so no current has to be used to change the position of the toggle arm the fuse blows. The solenoid measures 10 Ohm.
attached some measurements from the stopping switches.
Can anyone guide me with some tips!! Thanks, Rick

Hi,in den meisten Fällen sind die Mikroschalter hinter dem Stift Kranz defekt, dann lösst die Sicherung entweder bei A oder B Wahl aus.Diese erneuern, nicht messen und beobachten.

Dear friends,
Herewith a small update on the problem.
After all measuring, wiring checking etc. I finally found the issue.
It was the plastic extension on the cam switches, which was missing.
After adjustment no more short circuit and all working.
Thank you all for your help!
Cheers rick
