Wurlitzer 3600 - free play

Hi

I want to set my Wurlitzer 3600 safely on free play modus. It comes with an electronic bonus accumulator BO / AC model no. 555

In the archive I did find a thread saying ‘to get free play, add credit and disconnect the substract coil afterwards. No credit will be substracted any longer’

Is this applicable to my jukebox model ? Won’t I risk to have overheating elements ?

Dear Bruno,

The description you refer to is for models of the Deutsche Wurlitzer company, not für US models like your W3600.

In one of the reference books for Wurlitzer USA I found this for getting freeplay:
" All you have to do is unplug the BOAC and ground pin 6 of the BOAC socket."
