ami i not work after pressing carousel button

Hope everyone is well and keeping safe.

I have a problem after putting records in. When pressing the button to turn the carousel, that works fine. However, when a record is selected, the jukebox will not turn the carousel unless I press a solenoid on the left side of the turntable area. Then the jukebox will operate as normal. Can anyone tell me if there are contacts around this area or what could be the problem.
Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you, Bill

Your problem is likely to be the rubber sleeve ( [www.jukebox-world.de] ), which turns a wheel, which then operates the scan switch.

Over time, the wheel digs a groove in the rubber sleeve. When you press the scan button, the rubber sleeve rotates, but the wheel is at the stop. This will pull the wheel into the groove. As a result, the distance between the armature and the coil increases and the coils no longer have enough force to attract the armature.
