I am starting work on an NSM Firebird (ES-IV) jukebox that has been sitting in my garage for over 5 years.

I am at the point where I want to install the CD mechanism in the jukebox, but I cannot figure out how to do it.
I have RTFM (Firebird and IV training) and cannot find any real information.

What is the purpose of the colored plastic on the sides of the CD mech?

Ich muss wissen, wie man den CD-Wechsler physisch an der Jukebox anbringt. Ich vermute, es hat etwas mit den rot eingekreisten Löchern zu tun, aber auf dem Boden des CD-Wechslers (außer den Füßen) ist nichts zu sehen.

Der Abstand von Fuß zu Fuß entspricht genau den Abmessungen der eingekreisten Löcher.

I need to know how to physically mount the cd-changer to the jukebox. I suspect it has something to do with the holes I have circled in red, but see nothing on the bottom of the cd-changer (except for feet).

The distance from foot to foot closely match the dimensions of the holes circled.

In my Firebird there are screws which go from the inside of the CD changer mechanism through. They are located left and right from the CD-player, under the towers.

At the bottom of the CD-Mechanism, I see 2 holes that could be used in mounting.

My thinking is that there is a metal plate that attaches to the base using the screw holes circled in blue on picture showing the jukebox transformers. Then the CD mechanism is bolted to the plate using the screw holes circled in blue in the picture of the bottom of the cd mechanism

Correct. There is a metal plate above the Transformator s, screwed down in the blue holes. The CD player unit then screws into this plate with 2 screws.
