Hi,

just bought a Seeburg HF100G and the handle to hold up the glass is broken from the glass itself.
I am trying to find out how this is attached to the dome.
The manual says it has a spring and you can slide it to the back.
Does anyone have an idea? Any idea where i can find pictures or parts for this?

Thanks in advance.

Hello djbazz,

I took a photo of the upper part of the dome rod - is that what you mean?

Kind regards - Oliver Stamann

Thanks a lot! This is what i mean indeed. I found out all 3 screws were broken, so i have to try to get them out really carefully without breaking the glass.
In the manual it says it has a spring as well but i wonder where that is located.
Manual says you can slide the lid too but it looks like its fixed to the glass right?

Hello,

just be careful when you want to drill out the srews while the glass is still in the frame!

I can take more photos tomorrow.

Would help if you show what is left on your dome rod.

Thanks so much Oliver. I think i will just remove the glass and all screws before i will drill them out.
I dont want to break the glass.
And i just found out the Mechanism cover was spray painted turqoise, its black underneath.
I will search the web for the right color so i can spray it again in the same color.
It has some scratches. If anyone knows which color is used please let me know.

Thanks for all the help.

Hi,
Just have a look in the archive ... there you can see the right color. It is a light blue ...

Thanks, i already checked the archive. I know its light blue but i want to spray paint it to cover some damages.
I cant find the colour codes online but i have chosen the color NCS 1010-B70G.
I think this will be close to the original.

It‘s always hard to say what the „original“ color was as the colors fade, discolor or „yellow“ after such a long time. The best way to find out the original color is to have a look at a part that was covered from a screw or washer.
