Does the jukebox run on 50 or 60hz ?

Hello,
if you run on 50 Hz, your conversion spring is present?

Maybe some oil on idler wheel/ turntable: clean up with soap and water.
Kind regards,
Frank

Hello Jim

The idler wheel can not cause the turntable to run too fast. If it is hardened or oiled, it can slip and the turntable runs too slow. If it runs too fast, there are two possibilities. The box could be converted for 50 Hz operation, but operated at 60 Hz. In this case, remove the spring from the motor shaft. Or it could be a wrong (too thick) spring mounted.

Hello Jim

I remember that years ago we had exactly the same problem with a Tempo2. I picked out the old post: [www.jbw-forum.de] . Maybe in your turntable is also incorporated such a ring. Incidentally, I still do not know why the ring was made for Tempo2. The diameter of the motor shaft with spring must be exactly 5.1 millimeters.
