NSM City IV plays too fast

Hi,

My City IV I just purchased plays a little fast. Is this normal for this model or is there an adjustment for this problem? I'm hoping there is a pot I can adjust for the motor speed? Thanks for any help!

There is no pot to adjust .

Works the machine on 117V /60Hz or 240V /50 Hz ?

Crazy Idea but it is possible that you have a German carriage for 50Hz in your Box ? Does the Box played with the right speed as you have bought them or is the problem with to many speed new ?

I just removed the control board that is mounted to the carriage unit, slightly moved around the capacitors to get the values off of them, put the carriage unit back in, sounds perfect now!! Must have a cold solder joint on 1 of the caps. At least now I know where to look if the problem comes back. Thanks Swen for trying to help!
