intermittent fault on a rockola 430 jukebox

i have a slight problem on my Rockola 430,now and then after the gripper returns a record to the magazine instead of the magazine either going to next selection or returning to zero ( if no more selections) it does not move ,than after a few seconds it continues correctly, could this be a sticking relay or something else ,any help please

Hi bopper,

Can you give some more Information about the poblem:

- Did the trouble show up suddenly?
- If so, had any works just before been done?
- Did the jukebox work well before this problem occured?
- Has the magazin motor been checked or overhauled at any time?
- Is the mechanism free of greased oil?
- Did you check wires and Connection already?

These information will help others to understand the problem more easily.

this problem is not very old, the box is in good condtion and is servived, the box is stil working fine apart from this niggling fault every so often. .the magazine motor has not been overhauled but seems to work ok, i have replaced the control box thinking it might be a relay problem when the rcord has finished the sequence is ok the gripper returns the record to the magazine and then a delay until the magazine starts again after this delay ( approx 1 minute) i can hear a relay click in and the magazine starts up. The box can play for a long time perfectly then the problem .if i use the scan swicth the magazine motor works fine
