NSM Fire Bird

Hello
I have a NSM Fire Bird CD Jukebox. It is working OK. Is there any kind of batterybackup in this machine, to save the parameters? I hope someone can help me. It could be nice to know if I have to change a battery.

Hello Maponi,
yes there is a so called Timekeeper RAM chip with a batterie is inside of the chip.
It is the M48T18 xxxx chip locatet at the left board behind the CD magazin.
You can change the chip, but it is not easy to get it.
The other way is also not easy. You can open the chip with special tools and install a new batterie.
There is a good description how to do that on geldspielfreunde.de but it is all in german.
