Jukebox history question - title card mechanism

Hiya,

Thanks for accepting my registration - I was wondering if anyone would be able to help with this?

I'm looking to see if there are any examples of original vinyl jukeboxes that have a turning title card mechanism, or if the title cards were always fixed in place?

I'm just trying to figure out what the earliest examples of jukebox designs there are that feature the rotating or sliding title cards, and if that was with the advent of CD jukeboxes?

Hi Laurien,

There are quite a few jukebox models that use some kind of rotating drum or flipping pages. Rock-Ola 1438/1446/1448/1452/1454 and later models for example use rotating drums. The famous Wurlitzer 1100, 2000 and 2100 use flipping pages. Seeburg‘ jukebox models V200/VL200/KD use rotating drums as well. Or the Swiss Chantal has a big drum.
