Rockola 1454 gripper

I am relatively new to jukeboxes and have a Rockola 1454, the issue is the gripper arm appears to catch the records as the carousel moves round, I have checked the arm and you can push it back but it appears to be spring loaded, it picks the dos great but could do to have an adjustment screw to push back slightly

I think the gripper mechanism does not go into the rest position. There is a micro-switch (# 4, called safety switch) which interrupts the current to the motor magazine, as long as the gripper is not in rest position. Maybe this is not properly adjusted or defective.

Do you have a service manual? Therein the correct setting is described. If you have none, you can get one here in the shop. [www.jukebox-world.de]
