Help needed with RC for X200 Wurlitzer

I have a 1979 X200 Wurlitzer.
I have the proper Remote Control but can't get
It to work
I switch the RC burton On inside.
Plug it in the back.

Volume comes out loud and no control

If anyone has had this issue or any ideas please write me.

Also on this model. Some records play funny and most are ok
It may be from those I had to cut the circles out.

I will check closer today. But again. If anyone has had this sort of issue.
