i just bought a rock ola 1484 and it is missing the id plate. The power unit has the number 34730-A. and now i see on the site that this number is a 110 volt unit. But i think this is a 220volt unit ? because on the the power unit is a swith 220v-240v

Hello!
I have the Schematic from the 1484 and in this Schematic is the Power Distribution Assembly
with the Number 34785-A. This Part is for 220-240 Volts.
The Best is, you make a Test about the Voltage with disconnnected Plugs. and you can see
if is a 117 Volts Version or not. On the Plug for the Amplyfier you must have between pin 1 and 2
6,3 Volts and between Pin 3 and 4 235 Volts by closed Play Control Relais.

Hello - I have also bought a 1484 recently and it was a 220 volt machine. But like yours, the power supply had part number 34730-A on it. So I confirm it is not unusual to see this part number on 220 volt machines. Since I was going to play it in the U.S., I had to purchase a new transformer and switch it to 120 volt. Perhaps an easy way to confirm is if the wall plug is a European round prong or a U.S. flat style.

Hello Paul2235

We had the same problem two years ago with a 1493, the technique is very similar to the 1484. Possibly this will help. [www.jbw-forum.de]
