Princess 1493 Cartridge or Stylus

Hi all,

A quick query. Is the cartridge and stylus one unit when you replace it. Or are they seperate? If separate then would you normally replace both? What is the recommended replacements?

Stylus (needle) and cartridge are always two separate parts, except for Moving Coil (MC) pickups, but you won't find MC pickups in a jukebox because they are expensive and need a special amplifier.
If you replace a pickup you should also replace the stylus, especially if you use a different pickup. A new pickup normaly comes with a new stylus inserted. If the pickup is ok, you only have to replace the stylus.
A common replacement for ceramic systems in jukeboxes is the Pfanstiehl P132D. [ssl.kundenserver.de]
