Hi,
Sometimes with dinked records the record seems to not be placed on the deck centrally causing obvious playback problems. It does do this all the time but wondered if anyone has had this problem.

"Dinked records" – does this mean the centre hole was enlarged?
If so is the large hole centered, too small, too large?
Regarding your description – is this happen all the time or only sometimes?

Hi,
It only happens occasionally and with 1 or 2 same records. I think the hole is either wrong size or misaligned.

Hello Neil,
if the centre hole is misaligned or too large I guess these records sound cranky as well.
If the hole is too small the record does not fit the centre hub and cannot be played (well).
